Observing other people’s lives is so exciting. That’s the reason there are so many reality shows on TV. But what if keeping track of what others are doing would be your job? Welcome to Do Not Feed Monkeys, a game where your primary task is to watch random people through hidden cameras. You must note their every step: when they wake up, what they have for breakfast, where they go and whom they meet. The number of people you have to observe increases as you level up.
Although, to tell the truth, at the first passage it is unlikely that many will manage to get to the end of the main story without being expelled from the club for not meeting the criteria for having expensive cameras or not going to the hospital from abusing unhealthy foods. In other words, the game is definitely supposed to take place several times – for a single acquaintance you can’t trace all the local stories, all the more so to their optimal completion. In addition, at the second and third access levels, when the number of windows on the monitor screen increases from four to nine, sixteen and twenty-five, the scenes playing there are distributed randomly, and you may not see some possible scenes at all – and if you didn’t have time to deal with your “old” charges, then you just won’t have time to attend to the new ones. As a result, for all the seemingly simplicity of the process, the creation of Fictiorama Studios leaves us with exceptionally pleasant impressions and can be recommended to everyone except for those who experience a deep personal dislike for indie projects in general and moderately pixel graphics in particular!
